Aluminia

application areas

The homeopathic medicine Aluminia is mainly used for constipation and dryness of any kind.
These include constipation in the intestines, problems urinating, and menstrual disorders in women.

In the face and head area, Aluminia can help against dry mucous membranes of the mouth and bleeding gums as well as dryness of the eyes.

Another area of application is jaw pain. In addition, Aluminia is used for more neuropsychological problems such as sleep disorders (also in children) and generalized fear and phobias.

Disease-oriented application

Concrete diseases that indicate application of aluminia are above all

  • Constipation (see below),
  • Sleep disorders,
  • Anxiety disorders,
  • Body sensation disorders,
  • Jaw pain
  • and bleeding gums.

In addition, Aluminia can help women of all ages who have weak and delayed menstruation but are exceptionally exhausted during and shortly after menstruation.

All diseases that can be treated with Aluminia stem from a dry body or a disturbed water balance, including nervous problems: Here, the dryness disturbs the proper transmission of stimuli. Depending on the severity of the severity of the symptoms and the illnesses, high potencies and regular intake of the drug can be useful.

However, as always, a suitably trained person should decide on the exact dosage.

Aluminia for constipation

The treatment of constipation with aluminia has proven to be very effective. Since this is a form of “being too dry”, the use of Aluminia is obvious. The constipation can be caused by a hard, firm consistency of the stool.
A softer consistency is also possible, but it still requires a lot of pressing when defecating. This can be the case, for example, with a sluggish bowel. The urge to defecate usually announces itself long before the actual need, for example through left-sided lower abdominal pain. In both cases, however, the use of aluminia can be helpful.

Symptom-oriented application

The main symptoms are general signs of dryness and lack of fluids, for example dry, cracked and itchy skin, little urge to urinate, little perspiration and a dry mouth. In a more extreme form, neurological (nervous) symptoms can also occur, such as confusion or concentration problems.

Furthermore, a corresponding person can make himself noticeable by coughing, especially dry or chronic cough. In general, the person is susceptible to colds and often falls ill with them.
A sensitive and easily irritable throat can also be a sign of an Aluminia person.

Another noticeable sign of Aluminia is the person's craving for dry, sometimes even indigestible things like chalk, coffee beans or uncooked rice.

Aluminia's symptoms get worse when the room and bed are warm, as well as with tobacco smoke, dry weather and physical exertion. Women feel a worsening of the symptoms after the menstrual period, which in aluminum people is weak, but still equates to physical exertion.

Active organs

Aluminia acts primarily on the body's water balance. These include above all the intestines, kidneys and blood: intestines and kidneys are less excreted due to the dryness, and the blood volume in the body decreases. The latter is noticeable in women, for example, through a weak menstrual period.

In addition, Aluminia has an effect on the central and (less strongly) on the peripheral nervous system. Here it provides relief from abnormal sensations (paresthesias) such as tingling or numbness and delayed, slowed down perception of sensory impressions and pain.

Usual dosage D4, D6, C12

Usually you dose Aluminia in the potency D12 for constipation and then take five globules twice a day. Exceptions are infants and children, here you usually get a lower potency like D6.

Three of these globules are then usually taken three times a day until the symptoms improve. If the menstrual cycle is weak, but still tiring, women and girls can try three globules three times a day in a 6-D potency until there is an improvement. For bleeding gums and jaw pain, a higher potency, around D30, is required.
