Possible clinical pictures for which dorithricin can be used are, for example, sore throat and difficulty swallowing, inflammation of the tonsils or throat, and laryngitis. In the early stages of an infectious inflammation of the mouth and throat, dorithricin can provide rapid relief and support the natural immune system in fighting it. With additional symptomatic therapy such as tea and bed rest, most sore throats can be managed without further therapy. However, if the infection is more advanced and accompanied by other severe symptoms such as fever and nausea, other drugs such as Antibiotics may be needed. In any case, sore throat and swallowing problems that persist for several days and cannot be alleviated should be clarified by a doctor. A doctor should also be consulted promptly if the general condition deteriorates suddenly.
