Schüssler Salt No. 25: Aurum chloratum natronatum

application areas

The 25th Schüssler salt is Aurum chloratum natronatum and consists of a gold-common salt compound. It is therefore sometimes called the gold salt. The large area of application of this supplementary salt can be summarized under "disturbed control loops and processes":

It is used for unspecific menstrual cramps or menstrual disorders, and it is now also used very often in the case of disturbed sleep-wake rhythm. Another area of application is found in cardiac problems, since the process of cardiac work is also a regulated process, the disorders of which can manifest themselves, for example, in rhythm problems.

In which diseases is the salt used?

In principle, Aurum chloratum natronatum can be used for any disrupted control cycle. In the field of the disturbed sleep-wake rhythm, this includes sleep disorders in shift workers or due to jet lag, but also sleepwalking.

In the case of sleep disorders caused by depression, however, Aurum chloratum natronatum would not be used as the first choice or only as a supplement to other salts.
If one looks at disorders of the menstrual cycle, there are many other possible uses: Menstrual pain, severe bleeding irregularities or ovarian cysts are to be mentioned here first.

Since Aurum chloratum natronatum is generally used for complaints of the female genital organs, the supplementary and supportive use in case of uterine subsidence, abscesses of the internal female genital organs as well as the unfulfilled desire to have children has proven itself.
However, due to the risk of infection, abscesses should not be treated exclusively with alternative medical methods without first consulting a doctor.

Further diseases that can be alleviated by the administration of Aurum chloratum natronatum are e.g. Cardiac arrhythmias, over- or under-functioning of the thyroid gland, high blood pressure or gout.

For all the diseases mentioned, the Schüssler salt never replaces treatment with the prescribed medication!

Effects on the psyche

Aurum chloratum natronatum influences the psyche of the person concerned. In contrast to many other salts, this does not happen directly, but indirectly by balancing the many fine control cycles of the body. If the control loops are out of sync, the natural reserves of this salt are used up. The substance must then be supplied from the outside, otherwise inexplicable mood swings and sleep disorders can occur.

Furthermore, there are certain (compulsive) character traits and behaviors that consume the natural reservoir of Auratum chloratum natronatum. Typically this is the inability to follow one's own rhythm and to be able to listen to one's body. People who have a high consumption of Auratum chloratum natronatum orient themselves more towards given constraints, rules and rhythms than is good for them. In addition to adding the used up salt, it is therefore advisable for these people to train and observe their own body awareness.

What symptoms indicate that I should use the salt?

With the Schüssler salts you can recognize a person who needs a certain salt by certain external and personal characteristics.

According to Dr. Schüssler primarily through the face analysis, i.e. the observation of the face and neck. Auratum chloratum natronum doesn't have many specific traits. These mainly include skin disorders caused by irregular sebum or sweat production:
Oily skin, acne, or excessive sweating can be symptoms as well as very dry, itchy skin.

In addition, disorders of the skin appendages, especially the hair, often appear on the face. Hair loss to the point of baldness can be a feature that indicates an indication for Aurum chloratum natronatum in the facial analysis.

Also of great interest are the psychological symptoms and character traits that make the use of this Schüssler salt appear sensible: mood swings, excessive tiredness or wakefulness at times that feel “unsuitable”, sleepwalking, nocturnal headaches or heart palpitations are indications of disturbed hormonal control cycles caused by a dose of Aurum chloratum natronatum can be stabilized again.

effect

Aurum chloratum natronatum does not specifically affect a certain organ, but supports the regular flow of certain control cycles throughout the body. So it affects all glands in the body to a certain extent, since in principle each of them is involved in some kind of regulatory cycle.
Particularly noteworthy are the organs that are involved in the sleep-wake cycle, especially the so-called pineal gland, which is responsible for the production of the "sleep hormone" melatonin. The organ systems of the menstrual cycle should also be mentioned, i.e. ovaries, uterus and the hypothalamus and pituitary gland in the brain. In addition, the heart and thyroid are also subject to certain regulated processes and can therefore also benefit from an intake.

dosage

Aurum chloratum natronatum is mostly used in the D12 potency. Other potencies are almost never prescribed.

The application is possible both externally and internally:

For external use, a few tablets (usually two or three) are crushed with the help of a mortar and mixed with water. The resulting paste can then be applied to the affected areas of the body.

For ingestion, two tablets are usually taken three times a day, for children the dose is usually halved to three times a tablet a day. However, the specific dosage depends not least on the severity of the clinical picture and should therefore be discussed with the treating specialist.

The timing of ingestion should also be discussed:
In the case of sleep disorders, it is usually recommended to take it shortly before going to bed. It is usually taken over a period of several weeks up to a period of three months.
