Indications

The homeopathic medicine Traumeel® is suitable for various acute injuries, as they often occur in the context of sporting activity. In addition to sprains, dislocations and bruises, bruises can also be treated with Traumeel®. In addition, the targeted treatment with Traumeel® is effective even when the tendons, ligaments or muscles are overloaded.

Further clinical and drug treatment is usually required for severe forms of the above injuries and illnesses. If there is no improvement after a few days, the patient should contact a doctor in any case and clarify the further procedure with him.

There are insufficient data available for the use of Traumeel® in children under 2 years of age. Therefore, the use of Traumeel® should be avoided with infants and small children. The use of Traumeel® should also be avoided in the case of systemic diseases and, if so, only in consultation with the attending physician.

Traumeel® S tablets

Traumeel® products are offered in different application forms. Traumeel® is also available in the form of tablets. According to the manufacturer, the combination of active ingredients should develop its effect from within. Both packs of 50 and 250 are available on the market. To treat the injuries, the tablets should be taken 3 times a day. It is taken before meals. The tablets should be allowed to pass slowly in the mouth. In the case of acute symptoms, the dose can also be increased if necessary.
It is possible to take up to 8 tablets a day. In children and adolescents, the dosage must be adjusted according to the information in the package insert. Therapy with Traumeel® S tablets should not last longer than 8 weeks without medical advice. If symptoms do not improve, a doctor should always be consulted. Possible side effects that can occur during the course of therapy are increased salivation and possible allergic reactions or intolerance reactions to the ingredients.

Creams and ointments

In addition to the use of Traumeel® as a tablet, creams and ointments are also available. According to the manufacturer, these act directly through the skin on the various injuries. The creams are available in tubes of 50 and 100 grams. To treat the injuries, the cream is applied thinly to the affected area up to three times a day, as required. If necessary, a bandage can also be applied over it.
The Traumeel® cream can also be used on infants and small children. However, contact with the eyes and mucous membranes and open wounds should be avoided. Similar to the use of tablets, side effects can also occur when using creams. Intolerance reactions and allergies to the ingredients are possible. These often show up in the area of ​​the affected skin area and are noticeable as redness, swelling and itching.

Another form of Traumeel® is application in the form of drops. As with the tablets, the effect of Traumeel® should be achieved from within. There are probably 30 and 100 ml packs available on the market. It should be noted that Traumeel® drops contain alcohol.

In adults, the drops should be administered three times a day. 10 drops are swallowed each time. In the case of acute and serious complaints, the dose can be increased up to eight times a day. Traumeel® is also offered for animals. Different products are available for this, depending on the animal: gels, ampoules, tablets. Alcohol - is it okay?

The homeopathic medicine Traumeel® contains an active ingredient combination of 14 different ingredients.
