Kijimea® Immun

introduction

Kijimea® Immun is a preparation that is used to support the body's own immune system. It contains a high-dose combination of three living microcultures that strengthen the immune system from the intestine and thus reduce susceptibility to infection.
It was therefore developed especially for patients with a weakened immune system as a result of an infection. As studies carried out by Kijimea® have shown, therapy with Kijimea® Immun could significantly reduce the risk of colds, the severity of flu-like infections and the duration of the cold.

Indications

Kijimea® Immun is especially recommended for patients with an increased susceptibility to infections due to a weakened immune system. It can effectively support the body's immune system in fighting the pathogens. Even with an existing infection, it can significantly reduce the severity and duration of the cold and accelerate the healing process.

At the same time, studies carried out by Kijimea® have shown that long-term consumption of Kijimea® Immun also has a prophylactic effect. The likelihood of influenza infections drops significantly, the severity of illnesses can be lessened and the duration of illness can be reduced.

for diarrhea and flatulence

Kijimea® Immun is primarily a preparation to strengthen the immune system. It therefore only contains the bacterial strains that are relevant for the immune system. There are other products offered by Kijimea® (including Kijimea® irritable bowel syndrome) that are effective for complaints in the gastrointestinal tract.

When taking Kijimea® Immune, one should note that flatulence may increase, especially at the beginning of therapy. This is because the high-dose therapy disrupts the balance of the individual bacterial strains in the intestine. However, these symptoms usually subside within a few days of starting therapy.

side effect

Since Kijimea® Immune consists of naturally occurring microorganisms in the body, no side effects are known from regular use of the preparation. In rare cases, flatulence increases within the first few days after starting therapy. This is because the high-dose treatment with living microcultures can disturb the balance between the individual bacterial strains. However, the flatulence usually subsides within a few days.

Kijimea® Immun is available lactose-free and gluten-free. In addition, it does not contain any preservatives, sweeteners or flavorings. For this reason, possible intolerance to ingredients of the preparation are not known. Kijimea® products are also suitable for patients with diabetes, lactose intolerance or gluten intolerance.

Active ingredient and effect

As numerous studies in recent years and decades have shown, the microcultures of the intestine are involved in many processes in the human body. More than 80 percent of our immune system resides in the gut. A deficiency in these microcultures therefore often leads to a weakening of the immune system and a weakening of the immune system.

Kijimea® Immun contains a high-dose combination of three bacterial strains (microorganisms) that occur naturally in the intestine. These are bacteria of the genera 'Lactobacillus' (Lactobacillus plantarum LP-02, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LR-04) and 'Bifidobacterium' (Bifidobacterium lactis BS-01). After the microorganisms have been absorbed with food, they settle in the area of the intestinal mucosa. By influencing the immune system of the intestine, immune-strengthening effects can be achieved throughout the human body.

At the same time, numerous metabolic processes in the intestine are supported - among other things, the bacteria are involved in the production of numerous vitamins and messenger substances. The exact mechanisms of action are not yet fully understood. However, the effectiveness of high-dose therapy has been proven in studies carried out by Kijimea®.

Kijimea® for children

Kijimea® products can also be used on children. No other side effects (apart from the rare occurrence of flatulence at the beginning of therapy) are known in children either. Especially in children under four years of age, the natural intestinal flora, which is crucial for numerous processes of the immune system, is not yet fully developed. Therefore, infections occur more frequently, especially in children, which can be fought with the help of Kijimea® Immun. Kijimea® Immun strengthens the immune system and significantly reduces the number and severity of infections.

Kijimea® in pregnancy

So far there are no studies that show any risk to mother or child when taking Kijimea® Immun. The bacterial strains contained in the preparation do not reach the baby's circulation as the bacteria only settle in the mother's intestine and are not absorbed by the body. For this reason, there is no danger to the child.

Nevertheless, the use of any medication during pregnancy should be discussed with the attending physician. If possible, you should avoid taking medication during pregnancy.

interaction

To date, no drug interactions have been reported. This is due, among other things, to the fact that the active ingredient is not absorbed into the bloodstream in the intestine, where it can interact with other drugs.

Nevertheless, if any side effects occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted immediately. He should be informed about the use of further medication.

with alcohol

There is no known interaction between alcohol and the ingredients in Kijimea® Immun. In principle, however, you should refrain from consuming alcohol if you have gastrointestinal complaints or infections. Regular consumption of alcohol can influence the immune processes that take place in the body. The course of the disease can be prolonged and the effect of Kijimea® Immune can be canceled.

After taking antibiotics

Taking antibiotics can damage the flora naturally occurring in the gut. This is because small amounts of the antibiotic are not absorbed by the body and pass through the intestines. The antibiotic then interacts with the bacteria, particularly in the colon, which is heavily colonized with bacteria. The bacterial walls are destroyed, the metabolic processes of the bacteria are suppressed and the further growth of the bacteria is inhibited.

For this reason, after antibiotic treatment, the body's own intestinal flora can be strengthened again by ingesting high doses of specific bacterial strains. With Kijimea® Immun, at least the amount of three important bacterial strains can be significantly increased again and the immune system can be strengthened.

Contraindications

Since there are no study results and reports on side effects or interactions so far, there are no relevant counter-indications when using Kijimea® Immun.

In the case of unclear complaints in the gastrointestinal tract that have not been diagnosed by a doctor, a doctor should always be consulted before taking the dietary supplement in order to find out possible causes of the symptoms (including serious diseases such as chronic inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer or severe infections) to be clarified. Treatment of these diseases with Kijimea® Immun is not possible.

dosage

A Kijimea® Immune Stick is to be taken once a day. It is a powder. It should be taken in combination with a meal or after dissolving it in a glass of cold, non-carbonated liquid (e.g. water, juice, yogurt). To ensure the effectiveness of the therapy, this treatment should be continued for at least two weeks. Continuous use of the preparation for at least four weeks is recommended. The recommended daily dosage (1 stick per day) must not be exceeded.
